    Kasra ( ِ ): A little slanted line below the letter. It makes the letter say “Ee!” (Example: بِ = Bee).

    Damma ( ُ ): A tiny “o” shape above the letter. It makes the letter say “Oo!” (Example: بُ = Boo).

  Memory Trick: Fatha is “Top-Ah”, Kasra is “Down-Ee”, and Damma is “Round-Oo”.

  Activity: Use your finger to draw a Fatha in the air above your head, a Kasra near your toes, and a Damma in a circle!
